I crave the outdoors lucky for me I live in the country , with only 17 miles between me and the sea. My garden is 2acres some is wild and some is tidy , I keep wild bits for the wildlife. Which pays off  in dividends . I love to watch the birds in the mornings flitting around my seed and peanut bags hanging up. Crysilis hang from under the eves just under the guttering. Black caterpillars come here every year and eat away at the nettles, which they seem to love. Later to turn into the Peacock Butterfly. Here I am in my element just watching and listening to all the beautiful sounds around me in my garden.

Hi Sheila, I love your site and all the beautiful pictures…. where do you live? My name is Ed, and I live in the USA, Illinois. The leaves are falling and much rain which makes it hard to get the leaves all picked up…. wet! Thanks for visiting my site.

Hi Ed I popped over from Beth’s site and enjoyed your blogs. I live in England ,South West, Cornwall. My nearest village is 7 miles , next city is about 25 miles. Illinois is a very pretty place in the Fall especially those gorgous trees. The birds are really lovely especially the Red Cardival. Thank you once again I will pop over your Blog if that’s ok now and again. Best Wishes Sheila

Thank you for that nice comment Sheila, you are so lucky to have such a beautiful to be able to just sit or stand, walk outside to see your good looking garden and all those flowers….. and the water with all the ducks is a pleasure a lot of us never get to see, only thru pictures….. lol. I asked about my site loading slowly and you said it did for you. Do you have a new or older computer like I do… lol. Let me know, I can change the background to make the site go and load faster…… if your computer is new and you have cable, than something might be bad on your end. Please let me know, you won’t hurt my feeling one way or another…… Have a wonderful weekend…. is your seasons there like ours, fall, winter etc. It is 36 F right now today, but supposed to get windy & colder for the next few days…… but at least, no snow yet….. yeaaaaaaaa!

Hi Sheila, I saw your comment on Aussie Emu’s site. I am also from Australia. Have live here for over 50 years. I am originally from Berlin, the same as my husband, Peter. Soon we’re going to embark on a trip to Berlin. We also will be going to Mecklenburg-Vorpommer, a bit north of Berlin, where my brother lives.with his wife. They live in a beautiful area and I’m going to post some pictures from there!.
Where you live, Sheila, that is quite impressive. sterlingsop.wordpress.com, my blogger friend Pam (Mushy Cloud) from England travels around a lot in the English country site. Maybe you’d like to see, what she’s up too
    Greetings from Australia from Uta.

Hi Sheila, can’t believe one month in Berlin is gone already. We packed in quite a lot into this one month. I don’t like it to be very hectic but I’m afraid the next month our program might be even fuller. There’s just too much you can do in Berlin! I’m looking forward to some very peaceful, quiet days in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern before our return to Australia..

  7. Einen guten Start in die neue Woche.
    Liebe Grüße von uns.
