September what will it bring..

Well September started off pretty gloomy , and quite chilly and damp which in turn gave me a shiver.
Today we have turned a corner well at least for a few day’s .
So I’m hoping to re-pot my basket’s with some Winter greens and Pansies.
A few weeks ago I enjoyed a lunch with my friend..She’s 93 .
We actually sat outside in the garden area with a ice cream cone in the Sunshine. A young couple came out with two Beautiful children a boy and a girl. They played in the sand on a crane. With a lot of laughter going on, brought a huge smile to our faces. We then went to her home where we had a cuppa tea. As her husband is still in the care home , I stayed a little longer than usual. She mentioned that he was not at all happy with the situation , which makes her sad.
There was talk of trying him home again, with the help of carers. So I will be getting in touch this week to see what has materialized.

Hope all is well and you are all enjoying the new Season.
Have a great week 🙂

Have a great week too, Sheila. 🙂 Your friend is 93 and her husband needs extra care. How old is he? I agree, it is best when people can be cared for at home.

Lovely photo. I hope your friend’s husband gets to come home at least for a little while. I hope that I never have to go in a nursing home.

  6. Lovely garden Sheila, its that time of the year here where repotting and planting time has arrived, watching the plants grow each day/week is really relaxing and enjoyable.
Its a sad situation your friend is in at the moment, separation and loneliness is hard to bear at any time but is more so with the elderly.
    Kind regards.
