My Lovely Roses

Followed by a Heatwave at 30c that’s the Hottest here in the West Country I can remember having lived here for the past 12 years. This time last year everyone was complaining about all the rain we were getting. Set to be much the same next Week , has been a Lazy Day and doing nothing comes easy with this Heat.
Well that’s my excuse … around about 7pm the Evening Blackbird’s seem to appear all in various parts of the Lawn.
The Woodpecker appears to have had a chick to , isn’t that simply Lovely. Got a little glimpse of him/her a few day’s ago.
Which made my Day as it’s a first for me. ..bye for now ..

It must be great to see woodpeckers, we dont have them here in Australia, only time I see them is on the Woody Woodpecker cartoon show, hehe.
