Katkins in my garden

The signs are there that Spring is in the Air, these little beauties are springing up all over the place. The catkins  above picture..It was indeed a fine day yesterday blue skies , very uplifting. Mind you it has rained so much here the garden is very water-logged in places. As  Wil-e as he places his little paws down very gingerly, just don’t like that feeling too squishy.

Sun glistening on the Pond.

Now there’s another feeling , there’s something about water gently swaying  as you watch the ducks swimming around.  I think we all need to relax and I seem to find that here just gazing out onto the pond, especially on a day like yesterday. The ducks are all paired up now , looks to be four at the moment. There is still no sign of those Geese so maybe they have decided to move on to have their family. Just have to wait and see , it could be that it is just too crowded here for them.

What ever you are doing today indulging on a fine lunch somewhere , with family or friends. Or maybe just sitting with your feet up reading your favourite book. Enjoy your Sunday byeee for now. 🙂

Spring is definitely in the air Sheila, all the signs of new growth for the coming year are everywhere to be seen…We have small green shoots of Bluebells, which Bess takes much delight in ‘wee’ ing on…I keep saying “OH please, try somewhere else” …but no…She picks her spot with such care!!…..and I don’t blame Wile-e , it’s rained so much here too, little pools of water everywhere…give him a hug from me and Her Maj, and you too of course my friend… take care…xPenx.
